||happY NationAl dAY !!||

Here i am again! it's been only a day, yet so much have happen u know.. had our POM presentation today, and all of the groups overshot in their timing for the presentation. we are suppose to only present for 20mins, including preparation. However, all the groups, even without taking the time for preparation, took more than 20mins for their presentation. reason being: we have to have two forms of presentation, and the easiest to do is a role-play and using trans. all groups did that, and the role-play was funny for all! for my group i'm the joker, tushan, wen cong and rebecca is for their group. quite a nice day cuz everyone was having so much fun for their presentation.

Had to hand in the APEL portfolio today, and the teacher had to read through our service reflection. I wrote something totally different from others. It was said that we are to consider writing things about old folks home, children society and things like such. I, however, wrote about the human race. I sought of wrote things about those "philosophical" things that i wrote in my blog, and the teacher sought of believed that i was just crapping through my work. Yes i know that i'm a total slacker in sch. i may seem very slack and very lazy to study, but i really like to study. it's just that there are many people around us who are practically studying everyday, so i just go to sch with a character that will not remind pple to study. there's already enough stress among all of us, what for add on to it when u can stay more relax ya?

After our EBM project discussion in the library, bobby, vinc, pei yi and i went to the APEL computer lab to do our DBIS project. There, we saw our APEL teacher who was conducting CSA there. the lesson ended when we reached there so we went in to do our project. Then i asked the teacher how should i edit my service reflection cuz she said that i have to make some ammendments. That was when i realised that she thought that i had jus do the reflection without much consideration. cant remember how i found out, think is because of something either bobby or vinc said. either way, i asked teacher whether she wanna see my blog as i wrote all these kinda things in my blog, but she wasn't free then so i only email her this address. Teacher are u reading this now? if u are can u kindly put a remark at my tagboard? click on the "tag" sign on top to put the remarks thanks! after sending the email i showed this blog to pei yi also, and it seems that i have changed my impression of myself to her =) showed her the song that i wrote too, the one on the first page, and well.. whatever she said then was right.. pei yi if u reading this u might know which i'm refering to ba. whatever it is, today i have definitely changed my image to two pple, which i'm quite happy as they have know me better! Below i will put down what is in my service reflection.

Humans are known to be the best race in this living world. Although We are known as the best ever to survive since the age of dinosaurs, I will still label humans to be a disadvantaged group. Humans are too smart compared to all other living organisms here; be it the lion, tiger or even a wolf, which all are able to kill us with a simple swipe. We are being endangered here, although at a slow rate. Pollutions are killing us, and nuclear weapons are threathening our lives. We have always learned to defend ourselves well, which lead to the research for mass destruction weapons. Other living organisms have their own known enemy; the snake is afraid of the eagles, rabbits are afraid of the leopards and cheetahs. We, humans, however, are prone to die in several ways. We have diseases to fight with, just to name a few, heart diseases, cancer(which have so many kinds of them), diabetes. Not only that, natural disasters also kills us, be it directly or indirectly. The tsunami last year killed tens of thousands of people, and have made many homeless and parentless. We also have war against our fellow race, although there are only two till now, but it's more than enough to handle with so many methods of dying for us. This is why i think we are a disadvantaged group.

Humans are becoming more and more demanding over the centuries. With the ever-improving technology, they only increase the workloads of everyone, although technology is suppose to make life more easy for us. We have come to a stage where people rely so much on computers; it seems like everyone have to turn on their computer everyday, with so much information available on the internet. This was not what it used to be. Humans once rely on their hands for everything, even in manufacturing industries. Nowadays, there are machines to replace our hand, but it's agreeable that machines has done a better job then us. Will a day ever come that we have to rely on machines solely, and not able to survive without them? If such a day really comes, that should well be the day when the human race becomes extinct. What they really need is to enjoy every moment to their maximum, for we do not know when we will die. Just keep living your life the way you want it to, and all will be fine.

There's no quick way to help our race, for we have to appreciate things ourselves, then we can realise how wonderful this world is. Humans, for most of them however, sad to say, do not understand this, for they are forever craving for a better live every living second. It's nothing wrong to think that way. It's just that meanwhile you are striving towards a better live, you should also appreciate all that's around you. Be it a good or a bad thing, it has affected your live somehow. It's just you who will decide how it affects you. YOU are the one who determines your live, not others. They can merely tell you how they will react, and you can only treat them as an opinion. Once humans are able to appreciate all that's around them, they will be able to smile even in their dreams, and will die off peacefully too.

Glad to say that not much have to be done to dilute Man's thought of having a perfect world, for since young we have been prepared mentally that we do not live in a world of perfection, therefore nothing in this world is perfect. There are also religions that we can fall back on should we really want to refer to something that is more pure then themselves. The people who believe to the God, the Lord, prays every Sunday, and this has somehow make them appreciate the world more than before. Buddhists and other religions also have festivals where the followers will pray to their respective gods. There are also stories that are passed down which teach the followers how we should conduct ourselves. All these are more than enough to bring us back to the truth behind truth, for those we do not intend to believe will not believe no matter what we tries to do.

If really something else is needed to do to increase the speed of purifying the soul, more talks could be held, and maybe more festivals could be held to close the gap between the followers and their God. Currently, there are already enough events to cleanse our soul, as there are not much free time to everyone with so much workload on hand. Perhaps we could make it a national event and a public holiday given, or maybe all companies have a policy that gives their workers a few days off in a year to pray or celebrate these festivals.

I know all these maybe has sounded too profound to understand, but that's jus what i have noticed ba.. hope that we have realised all these and hope tomoro will be a better day for all! HAPPY NATIONAL DAY!!!
